This is my one of my fry tanks. I have guppy fry on the right and temporarily on left side I have bumble Gobys that are being donated to tomorrows meeting. There is tank divider in the middle and only plants is hygrophilia compact. Notice the Goby resting on a leaf in last pic.

Yes they are great plants and come in so many varieties. I have another variety I have not posted yet Rob, blue hygro. I have 5 species of hygrophlia. I also have narrow leaf hygro. And thanks for the compliment on the fry tank. They really do like it planted and it adds character to that tank. Now that I gave away the bumble bee gobys at the meeting. I freed up that side of my fry tank. Hows do you like your hygro sunset ?

I bet you could do a really cool species tank since you have so manny different types. There really is something to a plant species tank, the uniformity with subtle differences is really eye catching.

That is actually a really good idea. I might try that in the future. Just like I have my crypt tank all crypt species minus the moss.
