This Saturday September 21st is the first auction of the fall season as Sarnia will put on their fall auction . This is a great auction that is on the smaller size so your not there the whole day . A few of us are heading to it , how about checking it out .

This past weekend I had the pleasure to attend two auctions . On Saturday I made the trip over to the Greater Detroit Aquarium Society Auction . Like the Sarnia auction it is on the smaller size . Didn’t buy anything but still have some deep deep regret for not bidding higher on a bag of three pairs of beautiful super red bristlenose pleco’s . Man we’re they nice .
On Sunday Les Jr and I attended the London Aquarium Society Fall Auction . This auction also didn’t disappoint and this time I came home with a few bags of fish . List will be posted in the General Fish Discussion section .

Well I went to the Michigan Cichlid Association Auction on Saturday. For some reason the auction didn’t start on time and since there was only a bag or two that I was interested in I thought my time was better spent at home in the fishroom . Lots of African Cichlids , bristlenose . Not many Angels . So I attended two Detroit auction this fall and haven’t bought a fish . That will change on November 9th during the Motor City Auction ......

I was also at the MCA auction. Must have just missed you Les. There was a decent amount of L species plecos. Galaxy's, snowballs, columbian zebras, green phantoms, and tigers. Just to name a few. These all sold for good money, but I did pick up a bag of snowball plecos. I agree that there wasn't a lot of Angel's, and sadly no discus. I did manage to pick up 1 DD (double dark) black angel. DD Angel's have always been a favorite of mine. Hoping to get to Octoberfish and Motor City.

A little delayed posting this . On October 20th Carl , Basha, Christina , Gabe and I attended the Kitchener Show and Auction . I had to work both before and after this event so it was a pretty long day . By the time we arrived the show area was closed for judging and Gabe had to attend a CAOAC meeting . Auction was pretty big with lots of fish and plants . I was outbid for a vintage 15 gallon cube tank by the one and only Gabe . But since I drove and he needed a ride home the tank is now in my basement . Thanks Gabe . They also has a raffle with 4 or 5 items and I was lucky enough to walk away with two prizes . A 200 watt heater and a Fluval Spec 2.6 gallon nano tank . Pretty happy with that . We had to leave early as I was going on no sleep and we still wanted to go to Angelfins .
