Rerooting

My mystery snail bit off a couple leaves at the bottom of the stalks so I scolded him and stuck them in the substrate, will they reroot like that or do I gotta do something extra to insure their survival?

First off welcome to the forum . What type of plant is it . If it’s a stem plant it should reroot with no issues . Problem is the mystery snail will continue to eat your plants . |
