So finally I set up my 90 gallon tank in the laundry room to my wife’s great disapproval! However it is up and running! This will be an angelfish tank with orange lazer corydoras, kribensis, and rummy nose tetras. I will try very hard to stick to this, as I have the tendency to make a tank that houses a mix of fish and no particular rime or reason for it! A few pictures from the initial process of setting up the tank to where it is now! Had to pull wire for a plug first! Placement and levelling of the tank! Filling it with water and adding decorations and plants. I really like the natural look of aquariums, so there is not much aquascaping to be done. And finally I added more plants and the fish, well the kribs, and four angels. Note here that I used everything from existing aquariums, also used sponge grudge to jump start the cycle of this tank. Basically I have seeded filters that are running in other tanks which I used sponges from to put in the filter. Instant bacteria in the filter, I also used wood, plants and rock from other tanks (which I keep extras in existing aquariums) which are covered in bacteria. Also mix a small amount of used substrate into the new substrate to introduce bacteria into it as well. Pretty much this provides me with instant cycle of the new tank.

I see that your fish room is slowly but surely expanding, one tank at a time.. lol
Nice tank, watch out for those Kribs, they breed readily and have a habit of filling up your tank.

Gary So far the kribs eat all the eggs and/or fry. They had 4 tries, none successful. They can battle it out with the angels!
