I had it for 2 yrs... Pretty sure it died of poor water quality. It was always a treat trying to find it in the tank, it would usually be grazing on the algae off the silicone on the corners of the tank.

Bettaja has kept farlowellas for a while. He was able to breed them a few times I believe.

Bettaja has kept farlowellas for a while. He was able to breed them a few times I believe. I currently have have 5 Dwarf Royal Farlowella ( Sturisomatichthys leightoni)...they are similar to the pictured Farlowella.

Bettaja has kept farlowellas for a while. He was able to breed them a few times I believe. I currently have have 5 Dwarf Royal Farlowella ( Sturisomatichthys leightoni)...they are similar to the pictured Farlowella. But in the sturisoma family, much easier to keep ive been told. Tbh i haven't seen royals in person. But they do look so prehistoric and neat. I mean, my farlowellas dont actually DO much, but i love watching them all the same. Its fun trying to find them because they blend so well
