Hi everyone
I haven’t been to active lately, too many daily water changes and life in general.
I’ve got a 135 bare bottom tank with roughly 14 4-6” Discus that I shave raised up since juveniles.
I have noticed a couple of fish have these weird looking patches of scale, all my water parameters are in line along with daily water changes along with running to FX6 filters. I did have some drift wood that was in and since removed as they are sometimes very skiddish.
I have brought up my water temp a couple degrees slowly to possibly kill any infection if that’s the case. There has been nothing new added to the tank or new fish, this group has been together for at least 1 year now. Any thoughts would be appreciated before I attempt to medicate.

Is that the white spot you are looking at? Do you have a pleco in with the discus?

Hi, no plecos. Couple of Cory cats. I was able to sort out the problem. I added peat moss into the filtration system and continued with the water changes. My ph was sitting around 6.8 when I should have been around 7 ish. The white spot has now gone away. Not sure if the city changes water balances around this type of year. But that would be my only guess for the water fluctuation. Thank you

I maintain my own Water Source, as yes, the City Water can change from season to season and also depending on other factors.
