Good afternoon everyone!
We are very happy to announce that, as long as, Covid -19 cases remain low, the Windsor Aquarium Society’s monthly meetings will start up again as of January 2022!
Our first meeting will be held on January 9th with a 10:00am start, at Cramdon’s Tap and Eatery!
We also like to remind our members, that we have to follow regulations, and everyone will be required to be double vaccinated to enter Cramdon’s, as well as, wearing a mask while not seated at a table!!!
I would like to personally apologize for those members with young children, who are not yet double vaccinated, as we are not able to accommodate the young ones at this time. Of course as soon as they are up to date on their vaccines, they are more than welcome to our meetings as always.
Our January meeting will be a social meeting, as we have a lot to discuss! A lot of club business, updates on HAP , BAP entries, financial decisions etc. Also we would like to find out what our members were up to since we last had a meeting!
I’m sure everyone had ample time to grow their plants, breed their fish and remodel their aquariums! With that, my hope is, that we are going to have a great auction, and raffle for all the donated items!
Now the potentially bad news!!!
While I was at Cramdon’s, making sure that they are okay with us holding our meetings there, I found out that the Health Unit just released new restrictions effective today.
Restaurants are restricted to 50% capacity and no more than 10 people per gathering. Of course this will impact our meetings as well, since we do represent more than 10 people at a gathering. Hopefully this restriction will be lifted by the time of our meeting in January, however we might have to cancel or postpone this meeting on a short notice. Unfortunately this is out of our control and we will adapt to the obstacles as they arise.
Hope to see you all at the January 09 2022 meeting.
