I notice today that I have several white spots in the 55g frmales cichlids tank, never seen it before ever since I started doing cichlids. I also have 1 nerite snail in it. Could it be the snails eggs? Like I said never seen it before, is this something I need to be worry about? First time with snail.

Yea but nerite snail only breed in brackish water and I do use cichlid salts in my tank (recommended dose per gallon) could it make my water brackish?

the eggs only hatch in brackish. The white spots are nerite snail eggs, i experienced the same thing on my driftwood when i first got nerites. They lay their eggs in freshwater but they will only hatch in brackish. Good thing is it shows your snail is happy in the tank
