So last night I came home and seen my synodontis going crazy around some of my small holey rock type pieces I have in my tank. So upon closer inspection I come upto the glass and theres something like sticking out of a hole in the rock. And because of the angle it looked like some odd worm. So im thinking great just sorta things you dont want.
So I grab the rock and take it out and turns out a small electric yellow navigated its way through the holes inside and got hung up on his gills I imagine. So my other fish were pecking at his lips that were the only part of him outside the rock visible.
So I went and got my hammer to try and save it my breaking my rock in half. Got it out but he didnt survive after trying to revive him.
I just thought this was crazy. Im sure other ppl had stuff like this happen?

Fish get stuck in the oddest places. I've had them stuck in wood and shells. If you don't notice, it's pretty much a death sentence for them. And pretty stinky for you when you find out. Though I've managed to rescue a few with damage to them, but they survived it.
