The 5 gallon crypt tank is doing very well. Some the leaves are turning red or bronze due to the rich in iron substrate. For crypts they are doing great. Slow growth but consistent. Attachments:

One thing iv noticed with my crypts is how much they love iron. I put some red clay under my crypts that are normally only green and within days the underside starts to turn red and I get great growth.

Ya for sure they do love there iron. So when setting this tank up I added a little extra laterite for them. And they are really loving it.

I use to use laterite then I started using Mexican red clay that you can get from any hobby store, works better and much cheeper.
