First pic is the 55 Gallon 7 weeks ago when first planted. Second pic and third pic is the 55 Gallon today. Check out the plant growth. So happy with the results.

thank you Amy and Ryan. With proper lighting and ferts it can happen. And no c02 as none of the plants in that tank have to have c02 like some plants. And grown in pool filter sand mixed with light river gravel.

Nice progression!
Are you DIY the fertilizers or using commercial aquarium trade fertilizers? I used see significant growth without using C02 as well. Purchased and measured chemicals myself as it's cheaper. I like that the fish aren't the focal point in your setup.

I am actually using commercial ferts as well as some homemade substrate ones from this one plant site I deal with. And I am now dosing with seachem excel liquid c02 as well. I have switched out a few plants since these pics were taken.
