What to do? What is the best way to feed frozen brine shrimp to angels and discus? Do I thaw them first or just drop in the whole cube?

I personally would thaw it. Take a separate container thaw it out in water and feed. That is how I use them.

I use a feeding cone and drop the frozen brine into the cone, the fish pick at it, it stays in the cone and the water thaws it quickly

Never seen anyone not thaw out frozen food.

I throw frozen bits in all the time. I do not throw in large chunks though. Generally the fish pick off the pieces that are coming off and the rest breaks up within a few seconds

Thaw and rinse is the best practice IMO. There is a lot of waste going into the tank if you don't rinse it after thawing. That said I've done frozen at times with no issues. It's going to depend on how often you feed frozen foods.

Thanks for all the advice I will try frozen chunks first and see how they react.
