I am interested to know what fish all our members have bred. I will start. Well more strain of guppies than I care to list. lol. Endler I have done black bar, leopard and platinum and currently working on others. Platys I have bred orange mickey mouse, red wags, blue mickey mouse, sunburst platys, and yellow platys. Currently just got red tiger platys. For swords blue wag and red wags. Just got some pink twin bars swords. Also bred neons. And cherry shrimp. But the majority has been different strains of guppies. Thousands of guppies over the years.

I believe that if you setup the right conditions that most fish will reproduce. That said the fish that have bred most often for me have been those whose natural environments I've attempted to replicate. Livebearers: Various types of Mollies, plates, guppies, swordtails. Cichlids: Various East Africans, South American dwarf cichlids, Kribensis, and a few other Central/SA species. I tend to keep SA dwarf cichlids on the FW side as I find them very interesting plus I'm a "sucker" for a planted SA aquarium. There are probably others but can't think of them now. Oh yeah LOTS and LOTS of snails! One day I'd love to try my hand at my favourite FW fish, Silver Dollar (Metynnis argenteus). I'd also like to try my hand at my favourite clownfish, Saddleback clownfish (Amphiprion polymnus).

Nice list Lisa! I was waiting for your post. LOL. Was it you or your husband that used to keep Rainbows? I love the Pseudotropheus saulosi - awesome dwarf Mbunas. Do you still keep those? Have you ever kept Labidochromis chisumluae? I tend to have an affinity for the smaller African cichlids.

His fish are my fish, etc. LOL
I wish I still had the saulosi, they are still one of my favourite Malawians. Haven't tried the chisumulae yet. Maybe one day. Was trying to stay away from Malawi for a while (tell that to my C moorii rescues I have downstairs).
