Does anyone have or know the condition of the water in Windsor, out of the tap? A question I've been meaning to ask. Does the local water company have the specs on their website?
Thanks,
J

Good topic. I'd like to know that too.
I'll post what I have tested: KH 90ppm GH 125ppm
I've tested Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and Phosphate too. I remember it being low, but I can't find the data. If I find it, I'll post again.

Do you mean today, tomorrow or next week? Do not trust them. The water is typically good for most FW with only temperature adjustment but certain days you can tell they have added something. No test kit just my nose and tasetbuds at work. I always used Prime and pH tested the water before use with FW tanks. Never had an issue in about 8yrs of doing this. Others claimed to have had losses during that time. Who knows if they were right or not. My point is that the water is good for fish keeping here but I think you would be crazy not to take certain precautions. Now that I run SW only every drop is RODI. I watch the TDS to monitor the quality of output and have never seen anything to indicate a major issue with the source water.
Hope that helps a bit. Ask the city for the water parameters if you want the numbers.
