This is my current "pride and joy". I know it's only a 15gal, but I'm having fun with it. I have a few more tanks up, but nothing really "show off worthy.." this one isn't even really "showy" as there's SO many scratches and crap that it makes me sad. I took this pic today after a MASSIVE trim. BBA really hit me on this tank. Oh well, the plant's will fill in again. I'm sure of it. Cheers. DJ

Nice tank. Remember bigger doesn't equal better. A aquarist friend of mine from Halifax took a 15G and constructed an amazing rock structure background out of styrofoam and concrete. Used it for his African shell dwelling cichlids. One of the best tank designs I've seen and on a 15G! Here's a link on Cichlid Forum website of his 15G tank design - www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/diy_aquarium_background3.php

Hey looking good and yes nothing wrong with small. That is my specialty. Most of my tanks are 10 gallon. But soon doing at 15 gallon tall. All planted tanks. Even going to try my hands at a 2.5 planted tank lol. But good aqua scaping layout, work well together.

Yes it is! (Big Als on Kenedy Rd) My original plan was to find some seuri(sp)stone... but I liked this, and thought it fit the other hardscape better.

Thanks again everyone, we're all our own worst critic I guess, because to me that "moneywort" is an eyesore, but I'll pull it when the rotala fills back in.
