Thanks everyone, this was a first for me. I think it turned out all right thought. Holding good, and it looks good too.

I would have liked a better pic of the dog. Maybe next time.
Oh and I hope the tank works out too. Looks like you did a nice job of it. Fingers I'm guessing?

Looks sweet bud... But a quick dumb question... I just scored a used 3yr old Marineland 65 Tall, (36x18x24h) and I think I should reseal it... (for the price I got it, I don't trust it) Ive never taped the sides before, as small tanks I could care less about the seams... however this being my next discus show tank, I want them nice and crisp. Do you take the tape off BEFORE the silicone is dry? or after? Thanks.

Thanks... I kinda figured... cutting along that tape line without scratching the glass would be a P.I.T.A. The tank is SWEEET! only a few "substrate level" scratches in it on ONE side.. I got it from a "big al's" clearout sale.... it was a store display I think..... but I SCORED it for $65 WITH THE MARINELAND STAND!!! still working on my light setup... (by that I mean grumbling over prices, and too lazy for DIY...) One day... it'll be setup. Just like all my other empty tanks

Sorry Stellar I was not on the forum for a day or so! However like oldmanriver said, take the tape off right after you smooth out the silicone!
