Recently moved to windsor and started up a 110 gallon aquarium. Been slowly adding fish/coral as of right now there is a Griessingeri goby, green target mandarin, firefish, yellow watchman goby and a few zoa frags. The griessingeri goby is very tiny less than half inch. They all get along and dont bother eachother but the last couple of fish i tried to add attempted to eat my tiny goby and i luckily was able to remove them before they did. Was wondering if anyone can suggest some small reefsafe fish that would also leave my griessingeri goby alone, he is my favourite fish and i dont want anything to eat him. This is a video of the goby: m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtube_gdata_player&v=YbGPiCs3DiE

So far all i can come up with is a clown goby but i would like to add some more fish that spend their time higher up in the water column since i have a few gobies already.

How about a royal gramma (make sure it's not a pseudochromis, as those are nasty) +1 to Cardinals - I have PJ's but I like the Bangaiis as well Blenny - algae, bicolour, canary, etc Wrasse - maybe a flasher (6 lines are hit and miss, but I love them when docile) Small clowns (I can't believe I almost forgot about clowns) Even a small tang should work
That's a lot of tank with not much livestock - do you have a lot of rock for the goby to hide in? Very cool looking fish, never seen one before.

Seggsy thankyou for the suggestions i probably will go with a pair of small clowns to start with. Yes there are plenty of rocks that the goby spends most the day hiding (they are arranged in a line down the center of the tank instead of a wall up against the back of the tank so they are not very visible in that video just see the tops of a couple) in i mostly see him in the morning when i turn the lights on and feed the tank although he does make random appearances out in the open aswell. The last fish i tried to add was labeled a royal gramma at the store but when i added it, it immediately start3d chasing my little goby around. Did a google search an apparently it was a bicolor dottyback not a royal gramma. Luckily i got it out before it got to the goby. Anyways thankyou very much some wonderful suggestions:)

Not much livestock is a good thing, that's why I am surprised he keeps getting picked on.
Dottyback aka Pseudochromis - not surprised. Grammas are very docile if you can find them - spot on the dorsal fin is one different trait.
Have fun!

Thankyou seggsy i googled some flasher wrasses and really like them so will probably get one of those too. Was curious what kind of tang were you thinking? Right now my only corals are a few zoa frags but i did plan on having most of the tank dominated by different color zoas and i was under the impression that most tangs would/could nip at my zoas? Maybe im wrong so plz excuse me if thats the case had freshwater aquariums since i was a kid but relatively new to saltwater.

I think that most tangs are reef safe. I have had scopas and blue hippo (and just got a purple), and I know guys with yellow and sailfin, no problems with coral. I have mixed coral : zoas, leathers, gsp, duncans, frogspawn, acans, acros....no problems with tangs
Maybe you are thinking triggers?
And let me know if you have some unique zoas to trade - I am trying to build my collection.

I initially was thinking of a yellow tang for my very first fish but there are plenty of threads on google about yellow and hippo tangs eating zoas specifically. I dont have any personal experience with those fish tho like i said so i was only going by what i read but if you say yours havnt eaten your zoa collection then maybe i can get one. I only have a few frags at the moment not sure the exact names but i will try and figure out how to get a picture posted on here. The guy at store called 2 of the frags japanese deep water zoas and not quite sure of the other 3
