Just ordered myself a tunze ATO on Amazon. What do you keep your extra water in? Obviously you heat it too? I do not heat mine either, its not necessary. I keep mine in a 3 gallon water jug

I was admiring that longnose hawkfish myself - what a bute!
No dosing here. The fish are lucky to get fed most days. My coral tends to grow best when I do frequent w/c with Reef Crystals and keep the skimmer cup cleaned up, but that doesn't usually happen either.

Thank you, Yes that is a long nose hawkfish- it is my favorite.
I do a 5 gallon water change once a week using reef crystals salt and clean my skimmer regularly, I do not feed my coral at all.
I manually dose reef complete and an alk/ph booster every once in awhile.

Just to add to the conversation, I have a 46 bow front! I do waterchange when my corals look like I need it, and in 8 years I have never cleaned the sand! I do have snails that sift the sand, and I have a very large clean up crew! Oh and clean the skimmer once a month if I remember, along with changing the filter sock! I find it the less I thinker with things the better things are!
