Cool, is there a reason you seperated the fry?

Yep. Hungry adult yoyo loaches 2x the size of the pair of brichardi that aren't afraid to use their weight. . Blue silver tip tetras that Ive witnessed dive in and pick one off, As well as other tankmates that would most definitely be oportunistic feeders.
#1 reason though is BAP. I need to have min. 10 fry survive, and a few weeks ago they had a clutch and by the end of the second week, they all were eaten.

Ahh... that explains it. Thought these were most often kept in species only tanks. Beautiful fish.

Typically yes, but Ive been working with this bloodline for quite sometime. Other than durring breeding, they're behavior is much like Rams. Quite peaceful. ( as far as cichlids go.) The loaches hold their own. .. Giant Danios get the surface, Albino rainbow shark and blue silvertip tetras take care of the mid ground.

Admit its an odd mix, but they all seem to work well together.

They're all doing great Les, I'll try and get a pic of them today after a WC. Thanks
The parents are still taking care of the remaining 8 or so stragglers in the tank.
