That sucks. I've been looking at videos of these fish ever since you posted about them and thinking of getting a pair. Just no place to put them... at the moment

I only see one or 2 in the tank... but like Les said, should be more eggs soon. Pair is quite active. Oh well... time for an external box... too bad Ken's is sold out..

It's so much easier when the parents are taking care of the brood. They are on the job 24/7. Not sure how much truth there is to this but I read that with this species, the older batch of fry will help out the parents and take care of the new born fry.

Years ago I saw a large tank of these and there must have been 4 or 5 generations all living in harmony . Was a very impressive sight .
