And my house...well my room is like 10 degrees at night, and in the middle of the day it averages around 17 degrees and I’m wondering do you think that will be bad or good with the heater because my room is not 70 degrees Fahrenheit Here's what I would do . Set up your Betta Bowl this weekend . Add the heater to it when I drop it off on Tuesday . I will send a thermometer with it that you can keep in the Betta Bowl at all times . Check the temperature at different times of the day and night and keep a record of the different readings to see if it fluctuates. If it stays pretty consistent then I would say it's ok to get a Betta . If the temperature jumps around a lot then we will come up with another plan . Hope this helps

Welcome to the group Dakota Like Les mentioned, we all want to see you succeed in this hobby but like many of us have learned first hand that you will have low's and high's in this hobby. Don't get discouraged because everything you go through is a learning experience. Many people in this group with lots of knowledge and are always willing to help, don't ever be shy to ask for help and remember there is never a "stupid" question as their most likely be someone else thinking the same thing

The wardley betta food is good. You'll have to pick out the small pieces, my Betta can't fit the big ones in his mouth yet. I feed him 3 small granules a day.

That container you show in that picture should last years. It will most likely expire before you finish it with feeding just one Betta.

If I upgraded my tank wut fish would go well with a betta There are lots of options but if I was you I would first see how you do with the Betta . So many people go to fast in this hobby and crash . Take it slow and easy .
