Thanks. Today I can only see one shrimp. Those guys are masters of camouflage. Of course, Daniel was the guy who spotted the one shrimp when no one else could.

Yes, the algae problem has really cleared up.....even though we never seem to see those shrimp out during the day. If I could borrow your automatic feeder for Xmas break, it will give me time to just buy one so we'll have it around for the rest of my career as I plan to always have a tank. Right now with the tree lights and the tank light and the fish swimming around the tank table has become a very calming place. Might even keep the tree, take of the Xmas decorations, and make fish decorations in the new year.

I believe Les has the feeder, he supposed to drop it off already! Well we all forget things! Anyway that auto feeder is yours to keep! I do not use it and you have a need for it! Problem solved! Now Les needs to get his act together! LOL!

We got the feeder set up. We hope we did it right. The fish are probably enjoying a break from US. It's a noisy, active place. Must be so peaceful for them now.

One fish died a couple of days after the holidays but everything else looks okay. It was just the fish and I today as it was a PA Day to work on report cards. Got a little silly on my Twitter account:

Wow, the tank looks great. Going to drop off a replacement cartridge for the filter next week. Maybe also a surprise or two.

Hey folks. Just giving you a tank update. The tank is doing well. The 2 boys currently in charge of it are very trustworthy. They keep our 2 big jugs full of water so they are ready whenever we need them. They keep an eye on the water level and add water when needed. They are great at feeding the fish every day. One grade 8 student is hoping for a fish to die so he look at it under the microscope. Cool that he is interested, but not cool he wants a fish to die! I'll get him some other cool stuff to look at.
